This handmade statement necklace features the rarest stone I've ever been able to get my hands on. It is a Bridewell stone with a flashy labradorite backing. It is set in a hand-stamped sterling and fine silver setting and hangs from a 20" sterling silver snake chain. 

Bridewell stone is created by melting and slowly reforming quartz and other natural minerals at volcanic temperatures. As the liquified silicate cools, the crystalline inclusions bloom out of the molten magma like a flower. While no two bridewell stones are alike, this particular specimen is especially unique because it sits atop a flashy slice of labradorite. The combination of the two makes for a perfect (and rare!) pairing. When placed under direct light, you can see the flash of color in the labradorite AND the light reflecting off of the rutile needles in the bridewell stone at the same time.

    CARE INSTRUCTIONS

    As with all handmade jewelry, this piece is delicate and should not be worn during strenuous activity or in water. Please take care to remove it while swimming, bathing, washing hands, playing sports, etc. and avoid applying oils and lotions while wearing it.

    PACKAGING

    As with all La Femme Boheme pieces, this item will come gift-wrapped in packaging made from 100% recycled, reused, or biodegradable components. Please reuse or recycle the packaging to the extent possible.
